Elko, a celebrated leadership and performance consultant, focuses a substantial portion of his time helping organizations in the areas of leadership, goal setting and myriad other motivational topics. During the two-hour lunch event beginning at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at the Country Club of Mobile, he will present “Inspiring Individuals, Corporations and Teams to Greater Success!” The cost is $50 per person, and reservations can be made by calling (251) 610-6715.

Billy Duren, President of Threaded Fasteners said “Kevin Elko will put you in a three-point stance for the new year.  His platform with corporate America, professional and college athletics at the highest levels gives Dr. Elko a unique perspective to bring a challenging message to all who will be in attendance.”

donation check to team focusMOBILE, Ala. (December 15, 2017) – Team Focus received a check for $25,000 from the Threaded Fasteners Charitable Foundation this week that will help support boys who lack father figures in their lives.

The money was raised through a charity golf tournament Mobile-based Threaded Fasteners Inc. has sponsored for 11 years. While the Oct. 7 event planned at Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail in Mobile was canceled because of severe weather, teams and businesses that pledged funds through the tournament maintained their commitments.

“It was extremely disappointing when the weather came in and we had to cancel the golf tournament.  Yet, what a testimony to see the commitment of our business partners never waiver in their support,” said Billy Duren, president of Threaded Fasteners Inc.  “I am so grateful for the platform we have to serve Team Focus.  Our company works on this tournament for months and truly embraces the vitally important mission of Team Focus.  We are honored so many people continue to help us support Team Focus. What Coach Mike and Mickey Gottfried do to positively influence boys and young men through Team Focus is desperately needed in our world.”

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. Besides enjoying turkey and pumpkin pie, it’s a day when everyone can stop for a moment and reflect on what they have to be grateful for. I was telling one of our young team members recently, I never want to lose the sense of awe I feel about what we do. Even today, with more than 37 years here at Threaded Fasteners, I continue to feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude for those we work with and those we serve.

Our employee-owned company was blessed to be founded by two people who set great examples for all of us. Frank Martin and Steve Sholtis are men of integrity who believe in treating people fairly and sharing with others. They are givers. We were fortunate to be able to see our company receive blessings because of how Frank and Steve ran the business. Now, it’s our turn.

Today, through the Threaded Fasteners Charitable Foundation, we continue to support several charities close to our hearts. We also encourage our staff — and everyone else — to find ways to give back whenever they can. We do it because we have been blessed with resources and it’s the right thing to do.

As Thanksgiving approaches, we hope you find time for reflection and much to be thankful for.

Blessings,
Billy Duren

Mobile, Ala. (November 13, 2017) – Threaded Fasteners Inc. (TFI), an employee owned business specializing in the manufacturing, custom packaging and distribution of fasteners, recently acquired the vast inventory of a Mississippi-based fastener firm — some 111 pallets of materials totaling more than a million parts – which is immediately available for its customers across North America.

The stock, purchased from an out-of-state business shifting its focus, included more than 5,000 different types of parts, all transported to Threaded Fasteners National Headquarters in Crichton, Alabama.

“All of our other locations now have access to the extra inventory,” said Jerrad Douberly, Vice President for Commercial Sales at Threaded Fasteners. “It’s ready to be distributed across the country as soon as our customers need it.”

Threaded Fasteners Inc. maintains more than 42 million individual parts in stock to meet the global needs of its clients.

MOBILE, Ala. (November 1, 2017) — There’s a company in Mobile where men and women manufacture and distribute nuts, bolts and screws that are packaged and sold to industries across North America. While the threaded fasteners can be as small as one-eighth inch in diameter, they play a mighty role in holding buildings together, making sure giant utility towers stay bolted to the ground and keeping hurricane shutters firmly in place during powerful storms.

Threaded Fasteners Inc. (TFI) — a 140-member employee-owned firm — operates a manufacturing plant in Semmes, Ala., where anchor bolts and specialty headed products are built by local crews on two-shifts to meet the growing demand for quality materials.

Founded in 1979 by brothers-in-law Frank Martin and Steve Sholtis and a handful of staff members and investors, Threaded Fasteners has grown from modest beginnings (a chop saw and a rigid pipe threader in a borrowed warehouse) to become one of the largest fastener manufacturers and steel bolt distributors in the southeast.

Mobile, AL (October 12, 2017) –Threaded Fasteners, Inc. (TFI), an employee owned business specializing in the manufacturing, custom packaging and distribution of steel fasteners recently welcomed Stateline Fasteners of Rossville, Ga., to its growing family of businesses.

“Stateline’s entire team will be joining forces with the TFI team already established in Chattanooga, Tenn., to serve our expanding market in Tennessee and north Georgia,” said Billy Duren, president of Threaded Fasteners, Inc. “Stateline’s staff brings a wealth of knowledge to our company. With this new customer-base we look forward to broadening our footprint in the region.”

Opened in 2016, TFI’s Chattanooga office is located at 806 N. Holtzclaw Ave., Suite A. Stateline’s previous staff members are now working at this location. Inventory from the Georgia business also has been acquired by Threaded Fasteners. The TFI Chattanooga branch team can be contacted by email at infochattanooga@tfmfg.com or by calling 423-803-5535.

Founded in 1979 in Mobile, Ala., TFI marks 38 years in business in 2017 as the firm continues to expand operations and launch new ventures. With more than 140 dedicated employee owners, Threaded Fasteners has 181,000 square feet of warehouse space with over 42 million individual parts in stock at its locations in Alabama, Mississippi, Florida, Oklahoma and Tennessee to meet the global needs of its customers.
