Threaded Fasteners Charitable Foundation To Host 11th Annual Charity Golf Tournament In Support Of Team Focus

Local Businesses Respond to Sponsorship Opportunities

Mobile, AL (September 21, 2017) – The 11th Annual Threaded Fasteners Inc. Charity Golf Tournament to benefit Team Focus is planned for Saturday, Oct. 7 on the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Magnolia Grove Golf Course in Mobile.

ABOUT THE 11TH ANNUAL THREADED FASTENERS CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT

Proceeds will benefit the non-profit Team Focus, which was founded in 2000 in Mobile by Mike Gottfried and his wife, Mickey, to help boys ages 10 to 18 who lack father figures in their lives. The mission of Team Focus is to provide a year-round program of support, encouragement and Godly values that foster the development of life skills in young men without active fathers by supporting the family structure. Team Focus uses role models and positive influences in mentoring, tutoring and other interactive initiatives to reach the youngsters. Team Focus has worked with more than 3,000 boys and young men since it was founded.

The cost to take part in the tournament is $100 per person. The entry fee includes breakfast, tournament favors and lunch sponsored by Wintzell’s Oyster House. Registration begins at 6:45 a.m. followed by a shotgun tee-off at 8 a.m. Attendees are asked to arrive no later than 7:15 a.m. to ensure enough time to register. Early bird registration extends through Sept. 15, and guarantees golfers a tournament shirt, organizers said.
