2025 Non-Profit Grant Recipients
This year, the Threaded Fasteners Charitable Foundation Non-Profit Grant Committee has selected four organizations a to receive grants for their program.
BeHeard Movement, Inc. Tulsa, OK – Founded by Evan Dougoud in 2020, the BeHeard Movement is Oklahoma’s only mobile drop-in center dedicated to serving individuals experiencing homelessness. Through its mobile units, BeHeard provides access to showers, laundry, and haircuts—restoring dignity and building trust in underserved communities. To date, the organization has delivered over 15,000 showers, 3,200 haircuts, and thousands of laundry loads. This grant will go directly towards expanding and operating their mobile drop-in center, which includes private shower rooms, washers and dryers, and a barbershop bus. These services are a vital first step toward health, confidence, and long-term stability.
The Parent Child Center of Tulsa – PCCT is a nonprofit organization with over 35 years of experience in preventing child abuse and neglect through trauma-informed education, therapy, and advocacy. Their Therapeutic Services program provides specialized mental health support to infants, young children, and families impacted by trauma, focusing especially on children ages 0–6. With a proven track record of improving emotional well-being and parent-child relationships, PCCT currently faces a growing waitlist due to increased community need and limited funding. This grant would directly expand their capacity to serve more children and families, reduce delays in treatment, and offer healing and hope to those most vulnerable.
Make-A-Wish Foundation of Mississippi (Gulfport) – The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Mississippi was founded in 1984 in memory of a young girl from Gulfport, becoming the 36th chapter of Make-A-Wish America. Its mission is to grant life-changing wishes to children with critical illnesses, enriching their lives with hope, strength, and joy. Serving the 64 southern counties of Mississippi, the chapter has granted over 2,700 wishes to date, with approximately 100 wishes fulfilled annually. Research shows that 94% of parents report improved emotional well-being in their child after a wish is granted, and 91% believe it was a vital part of their child’s treatment journey. This grant will directly support the chapter’s ability to expand wish-granting capacity, reduce wait times, and reach more children across the state.
Meals on Wheels Collin County (TX) – Founded in 1976, Meals on Wheels Collin County is a nonprofit that provides nutritious meals and supportive services to older adults and individuals with disabilities. Their mission is to help clients age in place with dignity, offering daily hot meals, wellness checks, and companionship. Each year, they deliver over 560,000 meals to nearly 2,400 homebound clients, helping reduce hospitalizations and improve quality of life. The grant will support the Home-Delivered Meals Program, which provides daily meals and wellness checks to vulnerable adults. This program ensures clients receive consistent nutrition and safety oversight, especially those living alone or with limited mobility.
