Letter from the President – November 2025

Happy Thanksgiving,

As we approach Thanksgiving, I seem to find myself year after year reflecting on what it means to live in a posture of gratitude. The apostle Paul writes “give thanks IN all circumstances” (1 Thessalonians 5:18), not because every moment of life is easy, but because gratitude reshapes the way we walk through both joy and hardship. It is a choice to live in this posture, and quite frankly, it isn’t easy at times.

This year, our TFI family has felt the full weight of life’s highs and lows. Many on our team have carried the heavy burden of loss this year of parents, spouses, and loved ones. We also grieved the passing of one of our team members, Eugene Mudreac, and one of our founders, Steve Sholtis, whose legacy helped build the very foundation we stand on today.

And yet, in the same year, our halls have echoed with the sounds of new beginnings—babies born, weddings celebrated, and families growing. These blessings remind us that God is still at work and our story is still being written.

As a company, we’ve also seen extraordinary growth this year. Your dedication, resilience, and commitment to create value in and for the people we serve have propelled us forward in ways that make me incredibly proud. It has been a season of momentum—there have been more records broken this year than in any year prior. This is what happens when a team pulls together, works with purpose, and puts people first.

This Thanksgiving, I want each of you to hear my heart: I am truly grateful for you. For how you show up. For how you care for each other. For how you serve our employee-owners, our customers, and our communities. And for the way you embody the spirit of gratitude in the midst of both joy and sorrow.

May this season be a reminder that gratitude is not just an emotion—it’s a posture. A way of living. A way of leading. And a way of honoring God with the days we’ve been given.

From my family to yours, thank you for being part of this incredible journey. I pray that your Thanksgiving is filled with peace, rest, and moments that remind you just how blessed we are.

With gratitude,

Billy D.
